New Mexico Concealed Carry

Course Cost: $100.00

Times:

Friday: 6 pm - 11 pm

Saturday: 8 am - 6 pm

This course is required by the State of New Mexico in order to legally carry a concealed firearm within New Mexico. This 15-hour course is designed to educate the student with gun safety, basic firearm fundamentals and how to operate effectively within the law of New Mexico.

After completion of this class you will have the knowledge, skills and attitude to move forward with your shooting development and for concealing your handgun successfully and confidently.  

Subjects Covered:

     * Firearm safety, storage and Maintenance

     * Defensive Handgun Fundamentals

     * Conceal Carry Safe Practices

     * Threat Awareness

     * Defensive Mindset and Situational Awareness

     * Physiological & Psychological Aspects of Conflict

     * Federal, NM State and Local carry laws.

     * The difference between policy and law.

     * Defensive and Dryfire Drills to use throughout your firearm training.

Required Gear:

     * Handgun (semi-auto or revolver)

     * Two to three magazines.

     * Minimum of 25 rounds of ammo.

     * Eye & Ear protection (sunglasses or eyeglasses are acceptable forms of eye protection)

     * Holster

Course Fee: $100.00

**All attendees are charged a $25.00 nonrefundable deposit. This will reserve your spot for the upcoming training. If you are unable to attend, please contact NM Spartan Firearms Training to reschedule as this deposit can be used to hold your spot in another upcoming class.

If you pay for the entire class up front and cannot attend and do not wish to attend another upcoming class. 

Firearm Rental

We understand that those who are new to the lifestyle might still be deciding on the right firearm for them. Don’t let that stop you from getting your permit. The process takes a while and the sooner you get it started the better. NM Spartan Firearms Training has an assortment of firearms that you can rent for the calcification shoot.
